Church of St Nicholas

Reviewed By Nimrod52 - Todmorden, United Kingdom

This church is steeped in history and still bears the scars of the nineties Bosnian War. A visit here is a good starting point to explore the hilly back streets of the town to discover old limestone houses and high level views across the Adriatic.

St. Mark's Cathedral

Reviewed By ohana52016 - Los Angeles, United States

Close to the Marco Polo home, we arrived there later in the evening and discovered it as we were walking by, because the doors were wide open and a beautiful vocal concert was going on that evening. During the day there is a small fee to get in.

Amazing, high elevation scenic views, must see!! Beautiful old monastery and cemetery! (Also known as Our Lady of Angels.) Interesting, small museum inside. Good parking, tight driveway. Easy to get to, not far from Orebić's center. A highlight of our visit to the Peljesšac peninsula.

The Franciscan Church and Monastery

This 14th-century church and monastery contains a pharmacy museum and a world-renowned collection of ancient manuscripts.

Reviewed By SESNoVA - Annandale, United States

Duck around the corner, and pay your fee just past the ‘modern’ pharmacy, and enter a peaceful cloister. In the back corner is a small museum with religious art and writing that predates the great earthquake , including a cityscape showing real Ragusa. There’s also an old pharmacy display which is well done.
