This plan is recommended for those who want to enjoy the unique local cuisine of Osaka. Osaka has long been a major transportation hub and attracting foodstuffs from all over Japan. As a result of the development of a unique food culture that took advantage of the abundant ingredients, visitors to Osaka tend to overindulge, and the city became known as the ""City of Gourmets"". In this tour, you can experience the food culture of Osaka. You will taste the crispy, bite-sized Kushikatsu with sauce, and the crispy surface and soft interior of the takoyaki. The appeal of this tour is that you can enjoy other Osaka specialties such as Okonomiyaki and pork buns all at once.

Yoshi was a great tour guide. He tells a lot of stories and takes you to your desired places and then some. We went to the National Gardens, stopped to say hi to Hachiko, and went to the Chiku Chiku Cafe. The Hedgehogs were so cute! They're usually nocturnal and the one I was visiting, Butter, was really tired and wanted to sleep so I only took a couple pictures and let him rest the rest of the time :) Take care Yoshi! Hope you have more fun adventures

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

I had an excellent time during my brief stay in Osaka. My tour guide, Kohei, was very friendly and accommodating. Coincidentally, the other members of the tour group were also Bay Area, California natives making the experience more intimate and enjoyable. We all enjoyed the best cuisine Osaka had to offer as well as the sights and sounds of Namba nightlife. I highly recommend it if you’re in town for a short time and open to adventurous dining.

My wife and I booked a tour with Liran Levy on our first day in Osaka and couldn't have had a better experience. Not only was Liran extremely knowledgeable about the city's history, sites, food, and culture, he was genuinely enthusiastic about sharing it. He went out of his way to get to know us - where we were from, our interests, our plans for the rest of the trip - and from that point on treated us as he would friends or family whom he was taking around town. If you view travel as a learning experience and prefer a glimpse of real, daily life to a "canned" tour, I strongly recommend booking a tour with Liran. And tell him Dave and Laura said hi!

Our guide Haruhi was very nice and told us a lot about specific characterics from Osaka. We tried Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki and Kushikatsu which was all very tasty. She also showed us some secret passages in Osaka and gave us tips where we could spend time Osaka on our next days. The only thing that I was missing was to try out some other foods that are maybe not too known too. But in overall we had a lot of fun!

I guess I’m not surprised that this wasn’t the best pub crawl I’ve ever gone on, but it was just an odd experience. First off, it’s a huge group. I’m talking 100+ people. Of that, 80% are dudes. The entire group (again, not surprisingly) are tourists, and they range from 20 years old to 40+ years old. The leaders are all travelers who wound up in Tokyo and do a pretty good job at rallying the crew, helping you meet other people and getting you drunk. The bars you go to all effectively feel as if they are opened weekly exclusively for the pub crawl, as they’re all pretty low quality and totally empty other than the pub crawl attendees. My biggest wish for this tour was that it felt more like a real night out in Tokyo - there was no Izikaya, no karaoke, no Japanese experience. You get to the last spot (a nightclub) by 11pm, which is pretty early, and then the group pretty much disperses. They could have done a bit more to recommend other good spots in Rappongi to go to after on your own for a more typical Tokyo night out.
