A Short & Good Trip for Peoples around Madurai & Dindigul. I Travel with my family in bikes. Best climate I feel very close to my city. Its Full of Mist not able to see road clearly. Road is small but good in condition. Good to travel in Bike & car. Avoid Bus due to 18 hairpin bends are there. If you want to feel full climate books some room there & stay. Shops & food hotels are limited only there.

I went to Silver Cascade Falls. The perfect stop over in-between a long journey, these silver cascade falls demand your attention while you travel from Kodaikanal till Madurai. The Silver Cascade Falls formed as a result of the over flowing of the famous man-made Kodai Lake, are the perfect way to have a break while on a long road trip. It is great place to go.

This fort is the identification landmark of Dindigul city.. The fort was built by the Madurai Nayak king Muthu Krishnappa Nayak in 1605. In the 18th century the fort was captures by the King of Mysore.. During the rule of Hyderabad Ali and Tipu sultan this fort held its high importance.. The British took control over the fort in the year 1799 after the polygar wars.. In Dindigul Fort, we can see an isolated rock in a height of 380 meters. The rock looks like a pillow and is called ‘Dindu Kal’ which means pillow rock, and it is from here that Dindigul gets its name.
