The city is served by three MARTA rail stations. The city is located approximately 5 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and shares its western border with Atlanta.

We rented the covered pavilion for the Sunday after wedding brunch. Great gathering place after all the excitement of the prior evening reception. There are tennis courts, play ground, dog park, soccer fields, walking trails and swimming pool that are nicely maintained. There are two entrances for parking. About one mile from Marta station in Decatur.
