I had a amazing time and learned a lot! They were very knowledgeable about the history! Wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes! I felt safe at every location we stopped at. We went over the time allotted and they were very patient. ( thank you a million) Very entertaining and not your average tour! The only suggestion I would have to give is to try to make the ending place where the tour began. Although we weren’t that far from the starting point, we were able to find our way back easily and enjoyed some amazing soul food when the tour was over. (Disclaimer: the food was not apart of the tour, we ate afterwards on our own and the guides DID ask if we knew how to get back)

Everything from our tour guide to our wine tasting servers was excellent and first class! A little known history on our parts was after seeing Churchill Downs and noting all the winning horses. We learned that Bonnie Scotland, the sire line of Belle Meade since around 1872 is one of the most prominent in American thoroughbred history. He sired so many winners of the Kentucky Derby and even the Triple Crown; Secretariat, for example. We recommend this tour to any and all even slightly interested.
