Pujada island is one of the amazing resort that i've been visit. It was amazing to see a crystal clear water in this Paradise. This island is not yet exploited. Its good for the family to go here and have a picnic and the entrance fee is so affordable. But, the boat price is quite expensive so, i suggest that if you want to visit Pujada Island you should go in a group. And also bring ready to eat food.

A short 3-hour drive from Davao we found this very nice white sand beach, perfect for relaxed swimming, surfing and snorkeling. We rented a large house (separate review later), away from the crowd and prepared our own seafood, which we purchased from locals right at our house. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. We will definetely come back.

It was my first time to travel to this part of Mindanao. Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental have been low on my list of places to visit, maybe because of the absence of tourism promotion materials about the plaves around these areas. The three and half hours drive from Davao to Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel Davao Oriental was very smooth amd relaxing. I was greatly impressed by the road system all throughout. Well paved roads all throughout the trip. The long and winding roads past Nabunturan and up the mountains made one appreciate the beauty of nature and the simple way of life in the rural areas. Once you reach Aliwagwag Falls, you appreciate even more how blessed our country is with the majesty of the falls. Seeing the volume of water cascading down the rock formations and hearing the roar of water are enough to overwhelm you. The experience will not be complete without taking a dip in the mini pools in each of the tiers and going under one of the rock formations to have a quick back massage from the gushing water falling down on you. One should also try the local dishes served across the street. I recommend the local dish of paksiw na kasili, Mindanao's famous eel dish or beef hinalang ( local beef stew spiced with pepper). Unfortunately, there are no available lodging places in the immediate vicinity of the falls so we had to go to Cateel town to spend the night. To maximize our trip to the area, we proceeded to Baganga the following day for more sightseeing and food tripping.
