At the westernmost point of the African continent, Dakar stands as a multicultural, diverse city full of vibrant arts and traditions. Residents from various ethnic groups present assorted crafts, foods, jewelry, fabrics and wood and metal goods at bustling markets such as Marche Sandaga or Marche HLM. The city is home to museums and mosques, cliff walks and beaches, and makes a convenient jumping point for excursions to any of Senegal's national parks and nature reserves.

Have you ever wanted to see sand dunes and have a night out in the dessert-like experience but can't go all the way to the Sahara? Well, this is a great chance to experience it. The Ecolodge camp has very cool tents, free boards for sand-surfing, a live drum band playing at night. I also recommend you take the 15 minute camel ride offered throughout the day; it's only 2500 CFA (about $5).

took the family to Hotel D'Italy. we were in the water for hours before going on a tour of the Island. the people were so friendly and were willing to answer all our questions. we finally settled down at the same place for lunch. we all had the Yassa Poullet. its a grilled chichen with onion and Peppers sauce served on a plate of rice. very tatie.

I enjoyed every step. The food was excellent and we were able to visit most of the main attractions. Especially Goree Island..I recommend Mika Guisse the tour guide manager of Trip Tour Senegal for anyone traveling for the first time to Senegal. He was very thorough ,patient, informed and we could understand him very well. Don't miss the Pink (Salt) Lake and Cheikh Diop University.

Took my kids on a boat trip to the Island. It’s was out of this world. The rocks, the birds, the little cute beach and the water are really totally beautiful. The guide was also super good. I would love to go again if I have time.

We visited Oceanium to try scuba diving for the first time and had a great first experience! The staff were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, making sure we were comfortable with the equipment before taking us out on the water. Each of us got to stay under for around thirty minutes and the instructor was there the entire time to make sure everything was going well. We saw lots of interesting marine creatures and it was a very enjoyable introduction to diving! One of our family members decided to kayak instead and also had a pleasant experience. An important note is that all of the instructions were in French, so I am not sure how an Anglophone-only party would fare here. We had an overall wonderful experience diving here and thought their prices were very fair considering the experience we had. I would highly recommend Oceanium!
