When visiting Curitiba once, or twice a year, we stop by the Municipal Market for a quick meal and to pick up some fruit, spices, and the hibiscus tea leaves (in large quantities), that come individually packaged or by weight, at a reasonable price. It's a place to access fresh produce, cheese, fish, assorted nuts, wine and even organic items. The environment is clean, odourless and inviting. It's centrally located in the Batel district.
