I could not be more pleased with my experience of renting a scooter from Real Hvar. Kristijan is a wonderful, kind man. He supplied me with a map and gave wonderful suggestions for routes to explore the island. I had such a great time that I extended my rental one extra day. He also recommended an out-of-the-way authentic restaurant run by a local family and it was the best meal I’ve had on my trip. I never would have discovered it had he not told me about it. The scooter was reliable and ran well. He even delivered it to my Airbnb as part of an arrangement with my host. It was so convenient. Kristijan also gave me his number and was easily reachable to answer any questions. I feel confident to recommend renting from Real Hvar!

I've had the pleasure of doing 2 tours with these guys: the Dubrovnik city tour and the day trip to Montenegro. I have done my share of tours over the years, and I can honestly say these have been the most informative, well thought, entertaining and fun of them all. It is rare to find people born and raised in the old town of Dubrovnik and it is even more difficult to find people with the knowledge, passion and professionalism that Ivo and Stjepan bring to the table. I could have spent a week listening to the history of both Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, etc and to all the anecdotes, facts and personal experiences. Truly outstanding. Thanks again for two fabulous days!

Let’s explore the everyday life of people living in Zagreb in the time of Yugoslavia! Yugoslav socialist system, unique and controversial, left many marks around the city. On this tour you’ll see both the old and abandoned factories whose signs rust on roof tops, and also factories that survived the transition and are still successful. We’ll also learn about the life in the well-known gigantic apartment building, listen to the 70s and 80s rock music and try to guess what happened to the former communist party headquarters building! You’ll get a unique chance to experience all that with a lot of history, fun facts, a drive in a Yugo, and a drink in one of the rare bars that got stuck in 1987!

Four of us took a day trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. Igor was our guide and was fantastic. We started off early in the morning stopping for coffee with a view, a visit to Perast, a drive up the mountain behind Kotor with a stop for drinks with a view to die for, then on to the village of Njegusi where we visited a local smokehouse and had a wonderful traditional lunch. We visited the old city of Kotor in the afternoon and then headed back to Dubrovnik. It was a full day spent in the good company of Igor, who was knowledgable, friendly and most of all, fun. The tour was reasonably priced and there was good communication with the company before the tour. They were even able to accommodate a last minute switch in tour days due to predicted bad weather. I would highly recommend using this company for a day trip to Montenegro.
