It is a talent to balance professionalism, comfort, flexibility and gentle guidance to ensure we got to see all we wanted to see (and change in the middle of the trip to make it even better) - all of this for a fair price. I booked this for a VIP guest of our company. Service was excellent. Every detail was looked after. Nothing was a problem, including last minute changes of pickup times (without further fees). Really, really pleased with attention to detail and professionalism.

I loved these tours. Took them back in April of 2019. The first tour I took was a walking tour of Dublin. Ciaran was the tour guide. He was a total history buff and made the tour super interesting. The next day I went on a tour to a seaside village called Howth. I had a tour guide named Stephen. He was very cool and even preformed Shakespeare in the woods for his group. I hope to take these tours again one day.

The absolute best and extremely luxurious whiskey tour and tasting combined with a slice of Dublin bay history & scenery and the rolling green glens of beautiful county Wicklow, the garden of Ireland. Unfortunately due to COVID, our trip to IRELAND was canceled. However, I still wanted to leave a review to give praise to Eamonn. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind during all of our correspondence. I would recommend him just based on his honesty and integrity, he returned our deposit plus supplied me with websites to gain more information for our trip. I can't wait to get to Dublin to meet him and rely on his expertise to see the country. He made the trip planning seamless and stress-free! 5 stars well deserved.

I wish I had not booked this through Tripadvisor. The communication was terrible. I had many questions about the tour but was told very little until the last minute, and ended up only going on half of the tour because of what I discovered what it was about. The tour guide we ended up with was great, but I wish I had been told ahead of time what to expect and I would have booked it and planned it a lot differently had I been aware. Next time I will try to go directly through the tour company to book it.

I contacted our hotel (The Alex Hotel) to book a private tour of Dublin for my wife and I. The hotel recommended Brian O'Reilly from Tours with Locals Ireland. Unfortunately, the hotel never confirmed the reservation with Brian. When I contacted Brian regarding the tour he was unavailable but arranged for a free tour the following day with his colleague, Alan Ingoldsby. Alan was a very knowledgable, personable and funny guide. He took us to Trinity College, (recommended us to book - Book of Kells Tour) , took us to numerous locations including Guiness Factory, Jameson Distillery, Phoenix Park ( US Ambassador & Irish President's residences), Kilmainham Gaol Jail, Hapenny Bridge, Dublin Castle among many other stops. Along the way Alan informed us of Irish history and recommended Pubs and restaurants that were enjoyed by the locals. The tour was a great overview that allowed us return to spots that we wanted to explore more in depth. When I return to Dublin I will definitely contact Brian O'Reilly and request Alan Ingoldsby as a tour guide.

We had a fantastic time in Ireland, and this tour was one of the highlights. It was worth every penny for the flexibility of not having to negotiate itinerary changes with others (or share our guide with them). James promptly answered our questions before and after booking, picked us up on time, and was a fun and knowledgeable guide. We were able to fit castle exploring, sweater shopping, cliff hiking, pub lunching, barren hopping, beautiful country driving, and Christmas market shopping at Galway without feeling rushed at all. Additionally, if we hadn’t taken this tour, we wouldn’t have known about The Brazen Head, Ireland’s oldest pub, where we had the most memorable trad music experience of our lives later that evening. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and book it. The craic was ninety!

very good service. We arrived about 30 minutes early so had to call service but the driver was there in about 10 minutes. Interesting drive in morning rush hour!
