Great hotel for a spa weekend. Lovely restaurant and bar. Good for couples and families. Near Ashbourne town walking distance and on a bus route to Dublin. Near tayto park and airport. Would definitely return . Great pool and bedroom was very clean and spacious.

Myself and my friend came here for a pick n mix treatment day with afternoon tea for €115. We got back, shoulder and neck massage, a facial and manicures. We arrived 12:50 and got into our swimsuits with slippers(disposed of after) and robes(washed often). We spend an hour before in the thermal suite with the option of going to the pool but we decided the steam rooms and shaunas were enough. The steam rooms are strictly 2 people per room so there were 4 groups of 2 so we could have one each and swap. Keeping our distance and also relaxing atmosphere. We headed back up to the spa for our treatments at 2. We were called when it was our time. I had a lovely girl called Sandra. She made me feel so relaxed and made the room so quiet and peaceful when I was getting my treatments done. After our treatments we were brought to the relaxation room and told to drink plenty of water(plastic cups that u dispose of after). I have no photos to share as they advice not to so people can relax more which made me feel more relaxed not having to check my phone or worry if someone was taking photos. We enjoyed afternoon tea after looking down in the reception away from anyone else just myself and my friend. My friend is a vegetarian so they provided for her with different sandwiches on her own cake stand than me. I had meat option sandwiches. We got a pot of coffee(to wake us up after our relaxing and tiring day at the spa). There was no rush for us to leave and we had an amazing time. We shall be back. Thanks to all the River Spa Staff and Knightsbrook staff.
