The Nuns Beach

Worth the drive to this Beach. It is a bit of a challenge to get down to it but so worth it. Mesmerizing is really the key word. I saw it at dusk and in the daylight and it was so different each time.

Beautiful beach in all weathers, great for swimming on a sunny day and walking (down to) on in stormy weather.

This is a fabulous beach. Lovely soft sand and the views are spectacular it's somewhat sheltered so good for swimming. The water was freezing but it is the Atlantic! Parking is very limited so it might be best to avoid peak times.

Ballyheigue Beach

What a beautiful beach unspoiled and a good 5 km walk to black rock and back. You can also climb black rock and see the outstanding views. Breathtaking. I hope Ballyheigue appreciate the beauty they have. Locals lovely and dogs well managed on the beach. No litter except for some of the usual amoebas who had dumped mattress etc in the dunes. I wish them all the karma they deserve. Otherwise congratulations to the townspeople who can be proud of the work they put in to keep this legacy for tourists.

Fermoyle Beach

A perfectly clean beautiful beach suitable for swimming, boating, fishing, picnics. Also football kite flying and any other beach sports. Easily found from Dingle - climb the Conar Pass up out of the town reaching the top you will see the beautiful beach down below you after the decent. Well worth it.

Clogher Strand

Reviewed By Patser22 - Maynooth, Ireland

Went there on a beautiful (surprise) September day- and it really is a stunningly beautiful beach with deep soft sand and amazing views out to Sleeping Giant island and cliffs at the end of the peninsula. But the warning remains to not swim there, you can see the ocean waves passing by the cove's entrance sideways. This makes for strong currents on what looks like a peaceful cove. Instead enjoy a walk on this empty beach, and enjoy the views and fresh air

St Finian's Bay

This is another nice beach along the Ring of Kerry Route, after the Derrynane and Ballinskelligs Beaches. Nice place to stop for a break while driving the Ring.
