You'll get to know the most exciting independent makers and beer regions and will taste a variety of craft beers. On the tour we pass by symbolic spots, immerse in history and music during our stroll through the city. We'll talk about the vibrant Galwegian food and drink scene and exciting experiences available. We'd love to make other people as passionate about Irish beer and Indie makers! If you are whiskey amateurs or simply looking for an informational fun afternoon tasting uisce beatha.We will be guiding you around the streets of Galway in to some of the oldest bars to discover some of the best in Irish Whiskey. Not only will you be tasting some of these terrific drinks but also getting a great understanding into Ireland’s rich Whiskey past and present. . We will even tasting a local poitin from 6th generation poitín maker Micil. This will be intertwined with a culinary walking tour of the city. It gives a great overview of our passionate people and our beautiful produce which combine to make Galway one of Ireland's gourmet jewels. You will get to experience a taste from artisan producers, cheese makers, creative beer projects, artisan chocolatiers, traditional family run businesses to young entrepreneurs with devotion and commitment to showcase the best of Irish produce.

Take a whirlwind pub tour from Galway City, around the village pubs of Connemara soaking up the local atmosphere. Availability: Most of the year. Visit legendary Irish pubs on this tour sampling the best on offer, while travelling through the picturesque Connemara landscape. Travel through the beautiful villages of Oughterard, Maam Valley, Beladangan and Inverin stopping off at four different hostelries en route. Sample the best food and or drink Connemara has to offer while chatting with the local publicans. The atmosphere and unique character of the Connemara Pub is something not to be missed. Enjoy a pint of Guinness or a tasty home-made seafood chowder, listen to a story from the barman or barmaid, sing a song or speak a few words as Gaeilge! On our return we will wind our way through Connemara, through the majestic mountains and valleys of the north before continuing along the coastal Gaeltacht villages where Irish (Gaelic) is the everyday spoken language.

Take a scenic flight to the unique Aran Islands and enjoy their local freshly caught seafood, fine ales and warm hospitality on this privately guided pub tour. Availability: March to October. Max: 8. Enjoy a day packed full of everything the West of Ireland has to offer on this privately guided unique tour. Pick up included from Galway by your private local knowledgeable guide and travel to Connemara International Airport for the flight across Galway Bay with commanding views of the coastline, the Cliffs of Moher and limestone landscape of the three Aran Islands. On your arrival on Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands, food and drink of the highest quality awaits you. You will visit three hostelries on the island where you will meet the locals and enjoy the unique atmosphere on the island made famous by Father Ted. Back to Connemara for your return trip to Galway, where we will stop at Tigh Chualain, west of Spiddal for our last pub of this truly enjoyable and unique tour.

Over a 5 to 6-hour tour you will travel through the beautiful villages of Leenan, Maam Valley, Clonbur and Tourmakeady stopping off at four different hostelries on route. Sample the best food and or drink Connemara has to offer while chatting with the local publicans. The atmosphere and unique character of the Connemara Pub is something not to be missed. Enjoy a pint of Guinness or a tasty home-made seafood chowder, listen to a story from the barman or barmaid, sing a song or speak a few words as Gaeilge! On our return we will wind our way through North Connemara, through the majestic mountains and valleys of the north before continuing along the coast of Lough Mask and back to Westport.
