Sadly, in these uncertain days of Coronavirus, I had to cancel my upcoming tour. The team at Overland Ireland were compassionate and understanding in working out the details so as to minimize losses all around. Flexible reschedule options into next year were offered as well. This is the kind of small company to support.

Our family of four had one of the best experiences we've had traveling around Ireland thanks to Henry. We booked Henry for 3 days and each day he gave us a comprehensive and highly enjoyable guide around different regions of Donegal. Henry is funny and extremely knowledgeable and we had such a wonderful time touring the county. We traveled in comfort and got to see views and visit places which simply are not accessible with large coaches or difficult on your own .Simply put, if you want to see Donegal, leave the car at the hotel and get in contact with Henry. Cannot recommend Henry's private tours highly enough.

We stayed in Letterkenny for 2 days. On the first day, we drove via Ramelton to Rathmullen (lovely beaches), and then onwards to Fanad lighthouse - beautiful views! On the way back via Portsalon (phantastic beach!). On second day, we took the car ferry from Rathmullen to Buncrana (very nice way to travel!), and toured around Inishowen, up to Malin Head, the most northerly point in ireland with phantastic views). We were lucky to have glorious weather, and the landscape of Donegal is just stunning!

I would highly recommend this tour company! We did the 3 day with Brian as our tour guide and it was honestly the best way to see the northern half of Ireland. Brian had a lot of information about everything and kept us all entertained with his bad jokes and the odd song. It is well worth the money because it's without doubt the best and most economical way to see Ireland as there is no time wasted navigating, vast local knowledge, no important sights missed and most importantly of all at the end of the day it was straight to the accommodation without getting lost! At night Brian always seemed to know where the best place would be locally to hear some Irish Music and boy did we hear some top class stuff. I would highly recommend this to couples or small groups looking for a fun, relaxed tour with the option of changing the itinerary at a moment’s notice, thanks to the “few to many in Leo’s Tavern where we met Moya Brennan lead singer of Clanad!!! We were planning a return visit in autumn 2020 but due to the current pandemic we now hope to go in spring 2021 as Brian has agreed to put together an alternative 7 day tour covering the same route but with different sights, we really can’t wait. Thank you Brian for such a wonderful trip and for the lifelong memories we have created.

Well I am like most of the others in recent reviews as I have not yet gone on my trip. I want to emphasize how marvelous Ciara was when I had to cancel and I have now rebooked the 11 day driftwood tour September 7. Would love to hear from anyone else booking that tour. One of the reasons I rebooked was the low deposit as even though did get my deposit back with no trouble last year I was uncomfortable at my age and who knows what’s gonna happen with Covid putting a large deposit down again. Marvelous communication and service and I’m sure my tour will be marvelous and I can write a great review when I have been

My husband I did the Southwest Ireland tour with Jerome. What a great tour, Jerome was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was a problem. The actual tour was fantastic and I am sure we would not have seen everything we did if we drove ourselves. We learnt so much from Jerome, he was a wealth of knowledge without going overboard. Our group was mainly American and Canadian, we were the only Australians, everyone was very friendly and got on well. We were extremely lucky with the weather and the scenery was beautiful. The only thing I would change is, we stayed in the bed and breakfast options, I would stay in the hotel option next time.
