Spend the day on the beach soaking up the sun or wind surfing, the breezy city's favorite pastime. Visit the massive Texas State Aquarium with its new Dolphin Bay, a protected habitat for dolphins unable to survive in open water. Take a tour of The USS Lexington, one of the most famous aircraft carriers in U.S. naval history. Stroll through fabulous flora and fauna at the Botanical Gardens. At the Museum of Science and History, check out the recreated Pinta and Santa Maria, two of the ships Columbus used to sail to the new world. At night, enjoy a succulent seafood dinner at any number of fine restaurants, then head to the historic Harbor Playhouse for delightfully original community theater and a true taste of what Corpus Christi is all about.

We will always keep you in our hearts. There are some who bless us, just long enough to love them, then they're gone. The Lord needed you and you answered the call. Brave you will always be held in high esteem. We miss you and until, and as we look forward to when we all meet again in paradise, heaven, where our fathers house has many rooms.

Historical area of beautifully restored homes of Corpus Christi's founders.
.... All have been moved here from elsewhere in the city and are clustered for easy viewing. Each home has an historical plaque with the history of the structure and the people who built it. A fun couple of hours. There is a parking lot that could accommodate an oversized vehicle if the empty spaces are available, bit no dedicated parking area for large vehicles.

Pier that is open to the public 24 hours a day for fishing
Recently hurricane Hanna broke the end off this historic pier????. I grew up surfing and hanging out here..hopefully they can stabilize everything and just reopen with the T at the end????

If you're a fan, love her music, maybe like the movie JLo did, then you must visit this spot. Its a beautiful statue, for a beautiful girl, who lived fully. Not super crowed on a Sunday Morning. Take a stroll to the statue and then walk around the promenade.
