View fine art by contemporary French/New Zealand artist Guity Evelyn. Her unique home/studio has stunning views overlooking Wharekawa Harbour, unspoilt Opoutere Beach and the Wildlife Sanctuary.Guity's unique paintings and distinctive style exude a blend of The Coromandel with hints of Provence. These reflections of where the Pacific meets the Mediterranean express a character all of their own. Add to this a boldness of colour and Guity's affinity for both the figurative and abstract and you have a complete palate, which has made her works sought by International and Australasian collectors. **Well Signposted** Topadahil Art Studios is only 3km off Pacific Coast Highway SH25. **Only 10min From Whangamata - 25 min from Pauanui - 1 hour from Whitianga - and 2 hours from Auckland or Rotorua. - Check us out on Destination Coromandel's video - https://youtu.be/k80Rx7fmhEg
I visited Guity while on holiday at Whangamata. Not only does the studio enjoy the best views around, but Guity is a fabulous artist. I stayed there for hours discussing many topics of mutual interest and came away with some truly unique artwork which grace the walls of my house and which I will always treasure.

Steamy Sisters is a magical, mystical shopping experience. At the heart of Steamy Sisters is pure steampunk provenance as the building started life as part of Charles Judd's Foundry & Ironworks in 1869. Located in the historic precinct of Grahamstown, it offers a tantalising collection of steampunk finery, curios, oddities, art, handcrafts and gifts.
Amazing shop, helpful friendly. Raewyn is amazing how she can pull an outfit together. Her hats are superb. Karen the boss has the most amazing outfits. The wooden toys are cool fun for all ages.

We visited NZ in 2008 and discovered this place then, even getting our Christmas eve dinner there! We just returned in November, and made a trip up the Coromandel to visit it again. Once again we chose the large sampler tray at $45 NZ, which lasted us for a week of tasty dinner, lunches or snacks! Whitefish, salmon, mussels, and some of the fresh local fish, all superbly smoked and boneless. Buy some good bread and crackers, pick up some of the smoked olives or cheeses they also have, some NZ wine and you'll be in smoky heaven! It's very basic and old fashioned inside, but it's a wonderful place to visit!

Loved the Bread & Butter Gallery and the lady in the gallery was super helpful. We spent hours looking around as it is one of the few galleries I have visited where I wanted to buy something. Ended up buying a painting and three or four other bits. Had to leave before I went broke. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best crystal shops I've found in New Zealand so far. Their range of crystals are amazing! They have any and every crystal you can think of. Although a little expensive, I wouldn't say it's overpriced as many other crystal shops I have found were the same if not more expensive. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I bought 5 beautiful crystals for $20.
