Copenhagen was once a Viking fishing settlement, and you can still find traces of the Norse explorers here. Visit reconstructed villages, the remains of a 1,000-year-old castle, and museums dedicated to the notorious raiders. Copenhagen also features a blend of modern architecture and historical artifacts such as the Round Tower observatory – a wonderful example of 17th-century architecture. Art galleries, narrow streets, canals, parks, and Baroque churches round out the city’s cultural attractions.

We sell exclusive private tours in copenhagen for groups of 1 to 4 people. All of our tours are individually planned with the customer and are flexible in terms of time, duration and content.
The 1 hour boat trip from Nyhven around the canals of the city, take in all the main sights and is great and inexpensive way of getting ones bearings of the city. The tour is part audio tour and part chats by a tour guide and both were very informative. The cost was 95 DK which I thought was reasonable in this expensive city.

St. Albans Anglican Church is a beautiful historic structure which is an easy and short walk from the crowd-drawing Little Mermaid, and it is well worth a visit! It is located in a beautiful park filled with walking paths and peaceful water features, and we spent a very pleasant Sunday afternoon there. Highly recommended!

Born of a fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the statue incarnation of the Little Mermaid has watched over Copenhagen's harbor since 1913. In 2010, Den Lille Havfrue, as she is known in Danish, left her post to represent Denmark at the World's Fair in Shanghai.
As the name indicates The little Mermaid is really little, but she is a very famous lady. Tourists have taken pictures of her for many years, and she is one of the attractions in Copenhagen. The sculpture is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale about the mermaid, who sacrifices everything to be united with the young, beautiful prince on land. The sculpture has been vandalized 2 times, in 1964 her head was cut off and in 1984 some have cut off one of her arms. However, it has been made, and in 2010 she was loaned to the EXPO event in Shanghai. The little Mermaid is sitting on her stone at “Langelinie” – go and see her and enjoy her and .the beautiful environments, but take care do not fall into the water when you are going to take pictures of her.and yourself.
