Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Our family of six had a wonderful time on the two hour morning ride. Allison led us up and down their private bridle trails, through forests, across streams, with majestic mountains coming into view every once in awhile. The horses and our guide were all a pleasure with which to share a morning ride. We look forward to returning!

Welder Outfitters provided a spectacular one day horse ride for my son and his girlfriend in the scenic Flat tops wilderness above Trappers Lake. Beautiful alpine lakes and stunning vistas remain an incredible memory. We don't fish, but the lakes up there can be wonderful for trout fishing. We rode through evergreen and aspen forests and along side beautiful lakes. One of the prettiest places I've ever seen in Colorado and wonderful to have such safe steeds to do the climbing. Enjoyed the delicious lunch at the top! Very few other visitors, a lovely remote part of Colorado that few ever get to experience.

Very fun, relaxing place to visit right beside Rocky Mountain National Park! We had a great 1 hour trail ride with Anna and got to see some beautiful sites inside RMNP. There is also farm animals to see on the resort as well while you wait for your ride time. Love the area and the staff were all fantastic!

This place was wonderful! About an hour drive (a super scenic, beautiful drive) from Colorado Springs, this Ranch is located just off of Hwy 24. Our guide, Jake, was professional, knowledgable, and laid back which made for a perfect trail experience. The horses on our ride (Jim, Madero, Logan, and Poker) appeared to be well-cared for and were all very well-behaved. The views on the ride were stunning: lots of forests and mountains. We stopped for lunch on the top of the highest hilltop on the property and it was a wonderful experience. I'd recommend this for anyone from beginner to advanced riders.

With little experience between us, my husband and I had absolutely no concerns with the instruction and guidance from Berta. We did the 1.5 hour ride -- felt like the perfect length -- in late afternoon and saw quite a few clusters of deer. If you come through here in foliage season, have your camera ready before you get to the aspen copse. WOW do I wish I had taken photos. Great people, we will look them up in Tucson where the family apparently goes for the winter to run service through Saguaro National Park.

One of the most unique trails in Fort Collins for the assortment of birds, raptors and variety of plants. Its busy at times, but the scenery is mind-blowing quiet and very enjoyable.
