Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Since 1953, the Flying W has offered a winning combination of picturesque natural surroundings, tasty cowboy trail fare, and unsurpassed western entertainment featuring the legendary Flying W Wranglers. Nestled in a stunning red rock enclave on a Rocky Mountain cattle ranch, the Old West comes alive through marvelous Navajo Rug Weavers and Silversmiths, Blacksmiths, ranch animals, and Old West endeavors. At suppertime, smoked meats, with all the trimmings, are served in a magnificent new facility, or weather permitting, under the Colorado stars. To top it all off, the world-renowned Flying W Wranglers, the second-oldest western band in the world, captivate hearts with three-part-harmonies of time-honored tunes of the open range, superb instrumentation, and heartwarming bunkhouse humor. The Flying W Ranch has delighted seven million people from around the world since 1953. It has now risen from the ashes of the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire.
Our group of 8 really enjoyed the ranch, meal, walking around and visiting with the ranch hands and the show! The band was amazing!! The facilities are brand new and clean. It was so inspiring to hear their story of rebuilding after the fire. Loved how the included faith, family and freedom!!

BDT Stage has been Boulder's Dinner Theatre since 1977. BDT Stage mounts award-winning productions of Broadway favorites as well as a variety of concert and cabaret performances, with dinner served at your table by the performers.
I saw Mama Mia! In NYC, and I have to say, with the exception of the size of the theatre and the more lavish set, these performers nailed it. We found this by accident, as our 18 yo niece with sophisticated taste in entertainment sent us on a hunt for something to do during her visit to Colorado. I will be attending all the upcoming shows. The food, the staff (which is surreal to have Donna complete a set and then come over to your table to pour you coffee during intermission!) and the entertainment was well worth the price.

Our family of 16 traveled to the Durango area to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. My husband and I brought our kids here 25 years ago and wanted to return with kids, in-laws, and grandchildren! Everyone loved it! The food was delicious, and the old west singers were great. We loved the songs and their humor! We had a throughly enjoyable evening. During this time of Covid19 we felt very safe. The tables were set for social distancing and everyone wore masks. We will definitely return in the future!

DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC THE IRON SPRINGS CHATEAU WILL NOT OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SEASON 2020. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS FALL! A fun filled night of musical comedy! Boo the Villain and Cheer the Hero! Come join us for an evening that begins with our three course meal and the Melodrama immediately following (audience participation is strongly encouraged). After the melodrama, a foot-stomping sing-along and vaudeville style olio full of song, dance and comedy continues the fun throughout the evening!
Fabulous evening with a group of ten friends. We had a nice dinner with choices of Chicken, Pot Roast and Salmon; Pot Roast was the favorite! But the evening is all about the show which involves abundant audience participation and is uproariously funny. This was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening.

America's LARGEST interactive murder mystery comedy dinner show! Solve a hilarious murder case while you enjoy a fantastic four-course plated dinner. But be careful! Everyone in the room is a suspect, even YOU, and the killer might be at your table!
We had a lot of fun! The dinner was yummy! And even with covid we were allowed to interact (and investigate) others which was really fun! I like the fact that we got to walk around and interact with everyone instead of just watching a show! I would love to try the others!

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy Candlelight's production of "Oliver!" From start to finish, it was a delightful evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was good, and the show was well presented and staged. When I'm back in Colorado, I'll definitely be back.
