A long stretch of beach, directly across the highway from Club Maeva.
Went here three times on our holidays, fantastic beach to walk and swim. Plenty of options to stop for a rest, drink food etc. Not busy like Puerto Vallarta. Various places have happy hour drinks.

An active, snow-capped volcano well-worth a side trip.

The volcano is majestic and imposing, the landscape is the best and you can walk on the slopes and hills. you will have to go with an experienced guide and accept all the recommendations of the local authorities

NaturaCamp is home of the biggest canopy tour of the state and one of the most amazing in the world with our longest zip line measuring 500 yards and 100 yards high. Fly from hilltop to hilltop at 60 km per hour. The park also offers a temascal (ritual steambath done by the preColumbian indians)a deer and iguana pet zoo, camping grounds and a reforestation zone.

This was a great place to visit, even with my adult kids. The staff was super friendly and informative and their facility allows you to get up close to huge tortoises, iguanas, and a croc or two if you're lucky. We were even blessed with being able to release some baby turtles into the ocean the day we visited!! Incredible! Definitely take the boat tour out through the mangrove cave and see amazing and beautiful species of birds (watch for crocs and snakes!!). Our family enjoyed it immensely.
