Wyoming River Trips was founded in the winter of 1978 with Rick and Ron Blanchard personally escorting trips that following summer. Since its inception, Wyoming River Trips is the only continually owned and operated rafting company in the Cody area, focusing on providing safe, family whitewater adventures that are accessible and approachable to all. Besides creating family-focused river trips, in it’s 42 year history, WRT has cultivated a family culture within the business itself. We offer flights above and beyond the foothills suroundiing Yellowstone Park in our open cockpit powered hang glider! All flights are instructional and you can fly the aircraft if you choose,or just sit back and enjoy the incredible views of our beautiful landscapes! No experience necessary. All flights are weather permitting. Reservations required. 220 Lb weight limit.

If you're visiting Yellowstone National Park and want to rent camping and hiking gear, you can rent from Sunlight Sports. Our goal when you come into the store is to help you have a perfect trip, no matter if it’s a day hike, a weekend skiing or a three week climbing trip.
