The Echo Canyon trail head has very limited parking and also happens to be the epicenter of hikes for Chiracahua park. We coldn't find a spot there so we parked at Sugarloaf and walked back to Echo Canyon to hike. We did the "Big Loop" which is 9 miles, 10 if you have to park at Sugarloaf. Still totally worth it!

Located in the desert of southern Arizona between Benson and Wilcox, the Texas Canyon is a beautiful area with some of the most interesting, huge rock formations in the lower 48 states. Highly recommend pulling into the rest area to take in the natural beauty along this short stretch of I-10. FYI, there is a longer stretch of the same type of formations in the mountains through I-8 west of San Diego and El Cajon.
