Impossible Co. Theatre is an award-winning, bilingual magic show held every Thursday in the heart of Osaka. What started as a small show named Magic Lab has now grown to be a weekly performance featuring some of the country's best sleight-of-hand artists.
My partner and I were at the show last night and loved every second! This was especially impressive as we’d had a stressful journey trying to find the venue, through an oversight of our own. We had used the company’s head office as our location to find, rather than the ROR comedy club in Namba where the show is held. The guys were really helpful when we messaged and clarified the location for us, even sending us another message closer to the show time to check if we needed any further help. I really appreciated this and it highlighted what a class act these guys are. I won’t go into too much detail on the show, not wanting to spoil anything, but we were treated to brilliant coin and card magic right in front of us. Lots of interaction, jokes and you also get a drink token if you book in advance. If you love magic we would highly recommend, and if you don’t love magic you will after this show!

A new amusement facility will be opening soon in MIRAIZA OSAKA-JO, the shopping and dining complex that opened in front of the Osaka Castle Tower in October last year. The Illusion Museum brings together magic, tricks, and illusions from all ages and cultures around the world. The highly popular MAGUS, the first Japanese in 20 years to win a Merlin Award, described as the “Oscars of Magic”, has acted as a consultant in the development of the museum. From exhibits of historical artifacts about magic and illusions from around the world to an area where visitors can experience the latest illusions first-hand, and even performances by illusionists right in front of visitors, this is a new, unprecedented type of museum.
The attractions on the museum are spot on, left out of there mesmerised by how many different ways the brain interprets the world.
