For travelers who love a good play, this ward houses one of the largest performing arts theaters in Tokyo, which contains nearly 3,000 seats. While you're there, take a walk over the most photographed bridge in Japan--the Nijubashi Bridge--and enjoy the whimsical backdrop, which includes a breath-taking view of the Palace. My daughter and I wanted to try cooking Japanese cuisine while in Tokyo and were told about Buddha Bellies. Unfortunately, we visited Japan during the recent typhoon which caused us to miss our scheduled date. Our gracious hosts allowed us to join another class and they honored our dish choice. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our Sukiyaki was amazing and we also got to make Udon noodles. It was fun meeting the other guests and hearing of their travels. We even received a great recommendation for buying Waygu beef in the San Francisco area. Great outing. Highly recommend.

A fun afternoon for learning Japanese calligraphy that was a highlight of our trip to Tokyo. Gained an appreciation of the discipline and artistry required. Wakana is terrific instructor and patiently corrects mistakes (even if like me you repeat the same ones). We combined with the Udon cooking class which was delicious
