My favorite park in Chisinau and I can be spotted here often. Cascade Stairs, better known as Waterfall Staircase is an amazing site having multiple fountains and the waterfalls light up in the evening. The staircase is popular for wedding photos. It's 2 1/2 kilometers around the lake- popular for walkers, joggers, bikers, and you can even rent carts to pedal around the lake. The wooded areas have hiking trails, plenty of benches for a good rest or to just enjoy the view, a beach area, playgrounds, and multiple concessions. The Sculpture of Skateboarders and a LARGE chess board are located here.

The park is full of trees, bushes, and assortments of flowers. In addition, there are many benches for sitting, a children's playground, and a large balloon slide and trampoline.

It's a nice park, in the center of Chisinau. The name and the statue at the entrance are linking the place with the Moldavia's history. A very special feature, at least for people interested in Romanian / Moldavian literature/history, is the "Alley of Classics" - a complex of 28 busts classic literary and political leaders figures from Moldavia and Romania.

Lovely park with in the city centre of Chisinau. Its call cathedral park because the cathedral is most prominent in the park. It is a rather quiet park . Close to the Triumphal Arch and Stephen Cel Mare park. There are many benches for relaxing and is very laid back.

The park is a large park surrounded by and filled with trees. It contains three lakes, which all contain paddle boats. In addition, the park contains walking trails, cafes, snack and beverage vendors, a small amusement park, playgrounds, a beach on one lake, and picnic areas. They're in the process of renovating the park: have torn out overgrown bushes and replaced them with Evergreen trees, replacing walkways and access roads, and even replacing the fountain at the edge of the park. Fantastic!

A small zoo w/ many props (fountains, flower beds, resting areas, etc.). There is even a playground for children which is fantastic. The zoo's concept: SAFETY!!! There are bars/fences to keep the animals in and fences to keep people out. It's difficult for photos, videos are better. I love this safety concept. No worries about people getting into animal enclosures like other zoos in the world. The waterfowl area is fantastic. There's a small reptile section- love the crocodile. Tariff is 30 lei- extremely cheap. A souvenir shop for children and concessions. The zoo is a must visit! I was here on multiple occasions.
