You could spend your whole Chiang Mai vacation exploring the famous Night Bazaar. Once you’ve exhausted the art of the cheerful haggle, however, there’s plenty more to explore. The National Museum and Botanic Garden are great places to soak up some local culture and to breathe in the delicate fragrance of Thai orchids. In the city’s center, the remains of ancient walls embrace over 30 temples. Limber travelers can climb 300 stairs to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, an ornate Buddhist temple in the hills.

My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He and his driver picked me up, and dropped me off, at my hotel, even though it is well north of downtown. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are amazing. I strongly recommend this tour. Be prepared for a LOT of walking.

All I ate was street food while I was here, don't bother with restaurants unless your on a date ha ha. Seriously the street food is top end! Low prices bursting with flavours and you can watch them cook it and ask questions about how they do it. The street market at thappae gate is huge, There's loads of food sections in there. Highly recommended ????

For a trip in 2/19 Spent a great afternoon with Kai, who not only showed us some off-the-beaten-track gems but provided great tips to find vegetarian food so we could feel more comfortable exploring and trying things on our Thailand vacation. Loved being able to see a variety of places and the tour was well-paced for a hot chiang mai afternoon but participants should still prepare for a bit of walking. Curious carnivores would also enjoy this tour. Lastly I would recommend that vegetarian/vegans in schedule this tour early in yr trip bc you can put Kai's tips to best use

I’ve never seen such a fantastic scenery. I will be falling in love with Chiangmai. We can recommend this tour with utmost confidence to many of the tourists saying they are too bored to see more temples. Because this tour is the perfect chance to explore the totally different temple from others. You will visit a must-see temple in chiangmai and the most unique temple in chiangmai which make you experience ancient Lanna culture. Without a doubt the night time is definitely best time to visit as you can enjoy glorious beauty of sacred temple and admirable night city view in the peaceful atmosphere without usual crowds.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Travel accident insurance, Admission fees, Licensed English speaking guide
Exclusions: Use of Lift
The park is worth to visit, it has a lot to offer but definitely not with the horrible guide lady: she was arrogant, rude and it felt like we are there for her, not the other way around. Thanks to her - as she 'forgot' to mention that the village is closed for the day, so we would have gone another day, we went back and forth (i.e. uphill) on the same route for the trekking experince. Please note that the price was 2,000 bahts (in March, so the price might be different in different month!) but you can bargain the agent when you book the tour..

This was a great day. Picked up by our guide Nood who was great fun and very knowledgeable. Loved the fact that we travelled on public boat, tuktuk and the sky train. Gave us confidence to do the same the next day. Visit the Grand Palace, all the main temples, an artisan village and Jim Thompson house. Nood was able to tell us so much about Thai culture and religion that it made everything much more meaningful and interesting. At the end of the tour she was able to show us a great place for street food, helped order our meal and check our change for us. A lovely lady. Highly recommend this tour.

Overall this is a very good way to see more of Thailand and enjoy the culture. The activities were well timed and the lunch was great. Guides were knowledgeable. James Bond island is somewhat overrated and it gets crowded at times. I found the visit to Koh Panyee quite fascinating
Departing when the sun sets and the city slows down, we explore buzzing markets and illuminated ancient temples taking on a magical feel at night. See the old town from a different perspective as you cycle through quiet backroads, small lanes, and have a taste at the markets as the temperatures cool down.
Inclusions: Use of bicycle, Use of helmet, Light refreshments, Professional guide

If you find some awesome place to take a bike trip in Thailand with your family, friends, or couple, I think Bang Krachao is the best answer. Bang Krachao is an artificial island located in the Chao Praya River. Bang Krachao is also known as the green lung of Bangkok because It is surrounded by many trees grow up among the city of air pollution. There are many ways to get to Bang Krachao. If you guys don’t have private car, you can take BTS skytrain to Udomsuk station, and then take a taxi or a pick-up truck taxi to pier, then take a ferry to Bang Krachao. When you arrived at Bang Krachao, you will see many bicycle rental shops. So, you can pick bicycle which you like. The cost of each bicycle is 50 baht per day, and you must return the bicycle before 5 p.m., after that you will receive the map to guide you to the place that you want. In the map, it includes the place like Bangnampuengnok temple which situated near the pier and Dhevasathan that you can go inside to make a merit. The next place is Bangnamphueng Floating Market which has a lot of delicious Thai food, dessert, refreshing beverage (such as honey lemon juice), homemade products, and including fortune teller, that is place that I like the most because the food is very delicious! Next is Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden. This place is far away from the pier 7 kilometers. You have to ride a bicycle to go there. In the park it is surrounded by a lot of trees. So, these trees make a good ambiance and make people feel calm and relaxed. I think if you want to spend time for relaxing or having a picnic, Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park is very appropriate place!! Here are some places in Bang Krachao that I recommend for you. Actually, there are a lot of places which sound interesting to go there, but you should experience it for yourself, and I think you will love Bang Krachao and want to come back again and again, like me.

This is the high water mark for authentic experiences I have encountered in Asia over the years. This is NOT a cooking class, this is FAR FAR more. The cooking component is maybe 30% of the experience. This is an immersive experience with a real rural family, inside their lovely home compound and gardens, learning about their history and way of life. You have tea, chew betelnut in their pavilions, wander the gardens nibbling on plants and herbs, and yes finally you all cook together outdoors on a clay pot / charcoal system like in the old school. Then you eat together. If you want a commercial, soulless, cookie-cutter cooking class, there are plenty. But this experience is far more comprehensive, soulful, and unforgettable.
