Victor’s tour was absolutely amazing! He’s super passionate about the wildlife, natural history, and indigenous cultures of the area and put 110% into our personalized, private tour. He showed us birds and explained things about Mayan ruins that we never would have seen or known on our own or with a less knowledgeable guide. Oh, and he even snapped some awesome photos of us while we were on the tour! Thank you, Victor!

I have traveled a lot of places and gone on a lot of tours, this was easily the best tour I've ever been on and I wish more people knew about it! I experienced and learned so much. Kayaking the Rio Hondo was absolutely magical - and being able to be so up close and personal with such beautiful ruins...it was simply unlike anything I've experienced in Mexico so far. Selene also gave great recommendations for me to spend a day in Chetumal (I was spending the week in Bacalar). It is 100% worth spending a day (or two or three) with Latitud Maya. You will not regret it!

We are very proud of this signature tour. As soon as you arrive to land in the port of Costa Maya get ready to transition back in time. First, will we drive through the local villages, then the road will get us ready with some adventure since the road is narrow and a bit bumpy. Totally worth it as sonn as we arrive to the ancient city of Dzibanché, dated back to the year 200 BC. Don’t miss going up on the temple of the owl and admire a breathtaking view and listen to the sounds of nature. Then, we will visit the ancient the ancient city of Kohunlich. Walk through the ancient buildings and be captivated by the remaining structures of what was once an important regional and commercial center of the area. Climb the temple of the Masks and appreciate the tridimensional masks that represent the rulers of that era, also called the house of Sun God. We recommend this experience if visit Costa Maya for the first time. This tour is a must if you want to admire Mayan culture!

It was our first time paddle boarding and we really enjoyed the experience. The guide was helpful and taught us how it is done. We arrived at the beach just before sunset and he prepared the boards and put the led lights under them. We really enjoyed the sunset view as we paddled out. Once it was dark, we turned on the led lights and we could see clearly the coral reef beneath us. There where so many stars in the sky! We turned the lights off and even saw bioluminescence as we paddled through the tranquil water. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable moment. We will do it again upon our next visit
