A natural scenic area and a holy mountain of Taoism.
Mount Qingcheng is a short distance away from Dujianyan. There is an excitement in the desire to reach the highest peak when climbing the mountain. However the steps up the mountain is quite steep, especially the last 30 minutes and can be slippery during winter. There are porters to help you up the mountain at a cost (though one does sympathise the porters who are in their 50s too). There is also a photo taking service a the top of the mountain which a beautiful temple, especially during winter due to the thick clouds. The air is filled with the smoke from the joss sticks. There is a certain level of accomplishment amid the achy legs when you reach the top. Hence, this is well recommended for travellers looking for adventure. However, the main drawback of the area is the hidden costs you have to bear with to enjoy a complete experience. The site ticket is 80RMB. To proceed to the mountain, you have to 20 RMB for a 2 way mini bus journey to the river coast, after which you have to pay 10 RMB for a 2 way boat ride to an area closer to the mountain. There is also a 60RMB cable car to proceed to the base of the mountain before walking up. There is a need to factor in these costs when you are planning your trip. It is also difficult to avoid this payment as the journey without is much longer. Do also take note of the different operating hours during winter. It opens 8.30am to 5.30pm from May to October, and 9am to 5pm from November to April. Overall, if you can get over the hidden costs and the physical requirements, this is well worth the trip.

I've assisted my senior to conduct their experiment here until I get my own; we use a high-speed train and safely arrived here. This area is vast, and autumn is suitable for having a short walk here. You can use a sharing bike to get inside and ask the people inside. The Chinese students are welcoming me and helpful also; they have assisted me well. Thank you????

Locally known as People's Park better known as Renmin Park located in the centre of Chengdu Qinyang District Chengdu in the Sichuan District known also as Shaocheng Park in existence since 1911 the first park measures 112639 square metres 1,212,440 square feet. There are very many delights to enjoy around and about such as the 100 year old Heming Tea House Qing Dynasty in the middle of the koi filled artificial lake where you can order an authentic green tea and even get your ears cleaned from wax. In very many different areas exist small gardens where there is singing dancing musical instruments playing people playing cards Mahjong Tai Chi practice even an over 30's lonely hearts club where the youth display handwritten papers listing their abilities and preferences a sort of Blind Date. For the more energetic in and around Memorial Square is the brilliant hand foot elbow knee shuttlecock game which is good for keep fit agile and out of mischief. The Monument was built 1913 - 1914 in memory to the Martyrs of the Railway and marks the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the People's Republic of China. In 1950 the new Communist Party renamed the Park People's Park and reopened it in 1952. There is also a monument to the Sichuan Army Martyrs of War of Resistance against Japan and also a small museum. If you are a horticultural fanatic it is brilliant for lotus in the Summer and Chrysanthemums in the Autumn which we were lucky enough to see in all their splendid colours and varying shapes and sizes. There is also a bonsai garden. This actually is not considered to be a tourist attraction site but I was extremely happy to visit as this is more an insight into local daily life where culture and entertainment merge.

Really something special. Because the production process is running together with the museum, fermentation, Destillation... And because the site as well as the exhibits are presented with great care to all the details. 50 RMB + 100 for an English speaking guide but definitely worth it, only with a guide you are allowed to the production and you get a lot of information and all questions answered

One of the most beautiful bridges in the world. it is most awesome when lit up at night. Beautiful in many was, including the architecture, the statues of creatures standing above the waterline, the openings for water-traffic, the building structure atop the functional bridge portion, etc.

Located in the city centre of Chengdu, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu is a mixed used development jointly developed by Swire Properties and Sino-Ocean Group. It comprises an open-plan, low-rise and lane-driven shopping mall, and an one-of-a-kind understated luxury urban hotel with 100 Rooms and 42 Residences --- The Temple House.
If you’re a city slicker like myself, then places like these will appeal to you. Nice outdoor layout with high end shops. The center has a historic Buddhist shrine open to the public with no crowds, which is a rarity in China.
