You find yourself in a mysterious room. As you look around, you start to notice strange objects and hidden messages. Are they clues? Can you and your team solve the puzzles, crack the codes, and find the hidden objects to unravel the mystery in one hour?
Jessie and her team opened up for my division to do a last minute team activity. She worked with me on timing and made some excellent suggestions for making this a successful and FUN event for co-workers which can sometimes be difficult with forcing fun. My team's response was awesome. Lots of brainstorming, team work and problem solving happening. As their manager I loved the interaction and what this activity provided my team.

Immersion Escape Rooms, located just minutes from the downtown mall and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, provides a unique, interactive experience for friends, family, and co-workers who are seeking a new and challenging form of entertainment. Put yourself in the center of a story that feels like a big screen movie. Your team has up to 60 minutes to solve a series of engaging puzzles within meticulously designed environments. Communicate, explore, and think outside the box in groups of up to eight people while finding a way to escape! Unlike other escape rooms where each room is one and done, all of Immersion's rooms are linked together with a common story. During your adventure you'll uncover messages, hidden meanings, multi-dimensional characters, and more. You take the part as the main character, following his story through each "episode". If you play through each room and pay close attention, you'll be able to follow the story through the notes and clues you find, as well as being able to converse with one of the characters during your play time.
This was our first visit to an escape room and it was so much fun! We did 2 of the rooms and loved how they were laid out and how the clues worked to solve the puzzles. The rooms were nice and spacious. 5 stars a must visit!

Has plenty of machines. Arcade machines, video games and pinball. I'm in a pinball league. We have been with Decades since it opened. We have been around for about 7 years. We have been with Paul at his previous spot and followed him here. Great place for parties, too. Come join us.

Find clues, solve puzzles, discover hidden passageways, and relive Charlottesville's history in the highest rated escape rooms.
Decided to look for an escape room while visiting the area on vacation and stumbled upon the Raven themed room. The experience was very well done, the room was immersive and the puzzles were clever. The three of us were able to escape and had such a good time we had to go back and do the second room. The British room was a lot of fun tying in the history that we had already learned about at Monticello and we beat it in 30 minutes! Definitely give this place a shot on your next outing.

Last week we went to the Alamo Drafthouse for the first time. It was also the first time we used our new MoviePass accounts and the staff members were exceedingly nice to us as we bumbled through the transaction. At the beginning of the movie a staff person addressed the audience and provided terrific background information about the movie. We ordered wine and ate popcorn and were very happy indeed. My only suggestion for this place and all our local cinemas is that the volume is far too high, please lower the volume! I bring ear plugs to movies now because the sound level is so uncomfortable.
