After a one hour flight over the foothills and inland farming country you will enjoy a ground tour of Wave Rock. Experience the spiritual stillness of the Outback and the massive Wave Rock in the cool of the morning, before the lunchtime crowds arrive after their long morning bus drive. You’ll also get to see the curious “Hippo’s Yawn” rock. You will have time for morning tea, to purchase souvenirs and if you wish, stroll through the wildlife park, Toy Museum and Lace Museum. Afterwards, you will fly to Cervantes; a small fishing village where you will take a tour of the Pinnacles Desert. These limestone pillars are scattered over a concentrated area, with nothing quite like it found anywhere else. We will then fly out over the Pinnacles and inaccessible Dead Pinnacles, then along endless beaches back to Perth.

Inclusions: Lunch, All Fees and Taxes

Exclusions: Entry to Wildlife Park & Museums

Combine a scenic flight with ground touring for a perfect day out at the Pinnacles Desert and Rottnest Island. Fly out over Perth and along the West Coast to the small fishing town of Cervantes. On the way you’ll pass massive sand dunes plotted between bush, brilliant sandy beaches, and lots more. Touch down and we’ll shuttle you to the Pinnacles Desert. This region is famous for it’s uniqueness, and remoteness. Take a walk through the towering limestone formations, that stretch on for miles. Make a day of it, and head out over the Indian Ocean to Perth’s holiday Island, Rottnest. Relax with a free afternoon on “Rotto” and enjoy the beaches, food or hang out with the local Quokkas (Rottnest's famous animal inhabitant). Polish the day off with a flight back over the Indian Ocean, past Fremantle before returning back home.

Inclusions: GST (Goods and Services Tax), National Park fees, Driver/guide, Bottled water

Exclusions: Food and drinks

This 7 day trip is amazing! It’s a modular trip, so we started with 24 people (a full bus load) and after 4 days, a few people left, then a few more left on the 5 day mark. However, I wanted to go all the way to Exmouth so I did the full 7 days and I wouldn’t have traded it for anything! The west coast of Australia is something else! Deserts, gorgeous beaches, awesome snorkelling, so much wildlife in their natural habitat and the perfect weather every single day! Our tour manager Carla made it even that much more fun with her cooky Kiwi ways and by giving us lots of historical information in regards to each place we stopped. The included activities were great - sand boarding in Lancelin, snorkelling the Ningaloo reef, hiking to Nature’s Window, hanging out with dolphins in Coral Bay, etc. Everything was awesome and I’d recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore WA without having to worry about driving it themselves.

We were picked up by a very charming tour guide called Bernadette who took care of us for the day. The tour was better than expected, we visited the Penguins where a guide delivered an interesting talk on the rescue ones and the lives of the Penguins on the island. We also saw lots of birds and sailed by another island to see sea lions. The cherry on the top were the dolphins who were coming along by the boat. The boat crew were experts on the dolphins and made an effort to find them so we could see more. The day trip was a huge success, enjoyed by all four of us and we wholeheartedly recommend Bernadette as an experienced tour guide. She went above and beyond sharing her knowledge of the region and making our day extra special.

On this tour we go to places that others don't. At Yanchep Lagoon we photograph a unique rockpool which has been formed by a close to shore reef. We then go to Gingin which is a historical down with interesting old buildings and a paper bark and bush walkway. As we head to the Pinnacles we stop along the way as we see things of photographic interest arriving in time before the sunset to photograph the pinnacles as the light changes. After dark, weather permitting, we will stop in the area for Astro photography.

Inclusions: BBQ Lunch at Gingin, Picnic tea near the Pinnacles, All Fees and Taxes, Bottled water

Exclusions: Need to provide own Camera, memory cards and batteries, Tripods available to hire for $10 per day., Soda/Pop, Alcoholic Beverages, Instant tea and coffee will be available on request

What an amazing tour. Wildflowers and orchids everywhere - managed to get shots that were sharp - even of the smallest thanks to Anna-Mair. Locations were awesome - no crowds even on a long weekend ( they sure know the best locations) . Pinnacles were amazing at the golden hour and we were treated to a spectacular sunset with the Pinnacles in the foreground. A bbq dinner was followed by Astro - I finally got a shot of the Milky Way! A truly great day. Can recommend this tour and Capture the Light highly enough. Anna- Mair is a fantastic teacher. She is patient, easy to learn from and has a great knowledge of photography . I use a Panasonic and my partner a Nikon but this was no problem as she clearly know the cameras well and how to get the best shots. Thank you for an amazing tour. Would recommend them to anyone visiting Western Australia
