Guest artist Augustin Hadelich was brilliant playing Concerto in D major for violin and Orchestra Op. 61. It didn’t hurt that he was playing on a Stradivari violin. The audience was especially appreciative when he graciously played an encore piece that was both calming and magical. Originally from Cleveland Ohio I attended the Cleveland Orchestra from age 5. I’ve been in Arizona 35 years and had season tickets most of that time. Don’t miss a symphony performance if you are in town.

The largest producing regional theatre company in the Arizona, The Phoenix Theatre Company offers more programs and experiences than any other. With nearly 500 performances on multiple stages and thriving education and outreach programs, we inspire more than 100,000 people every year.
Ten of us attended the Million Dollar Quartet show and loved the intimate theater where all of the seats are fabulous!! We were close to the stage and felt like were part of the cast.....enjoyed the story, music and cast that were all extremely energetic!! Parking was easy, no traffic getting in/out and nice bar set up. Will definitely go back.

Arizona’s Premier Family Theatre in Gilbert since 2003! 350-seat theater-in-the-round putting on family-friendly shows throughout the year.
I booked tickets for a BFF bday getaway in Gilbert Arizona. I choose this after reading reviews here and looking at their website. I admit we had a slight concern when we saw the sea of grey hair in the audience, but it was a 5 star performance. I almost didn't buy tickets ahead assuming there would be seats in a community theater, but I'm glad I did get them ahead as it was a full house. I Would do will call if I go to Gilbert again. I actually forgot my tickets ( I live in Canada) There was no problem looking it up. I haven't been to a round theater before and it's a must try. While the seats were a very slightly old style squished, ( & air freshener In the bathroom would be a good idea) it did appear that every seat had a good view. It was neat to see how the director placed everyone so no one feels like they missed out on any action. I didn't take a star off for being squishy as it was a great night and it was a nice temperature. The price point is fine. All the staff were friendly and appeared happy. The drinks & snacks were reasonable priced which I truly appreciate. I loathe price gouging at theaters. There was free water as well. No problems with parking and there are several restaurants around. The cast for John Loves Mary surprised me with their talent and pulled me right in. They stayed outside to thank people and came together for our picture- that I will share if my friend ever emails it to me. ( hint hint ????????) There was wheelchair seating available. I was I, pressed with all of the actors, director and behind the scene staff. I will send a short out to the actors and recommend any future shows they may participate in. From the program they were Kim Stephenson Smith, Matthew r. Harris, David Michael Paul, Laura Soldan, Justin Howell, Juli Gore, Joey Morrison, Tom Endicott & Bobby Jean Owensby. Bravo!

I've been here for a few events, I think this last event was enthralling. The Theater was built to play Silent Films, and I attended a Silent Sunday event.. accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, played by Brett Valliant. I'd liked Silent Films for some time, my wife, mmm not so much. But we saw "Sunrise - A Song of Two Humans" from William Fox. For both of us the experience was enthralling, the Organ cannot be appreciated outside the theater. It absorbs you and brings you into the world presented in the film. It's been sometime sense the world disappeared and I was pulled into an experience. Back in the day, the Orpheum Theaters, were built to be a destination which played movies and hosted events. Each cities movie palace reflected a trait of the city in which it was built. (I remember coming here when I was in grade school). The building went through a couple of other incarnations, but was restored by the city of Phoenix. Thankfully it was not knocked down and lost.

I went to see the play "A Christmas Story" and it was extremely well done. The venue is clean and neat. The seats are comfortable and this is a cozy small theater. The cast of the play was good and the kids were adorable playing the roles of the school children. However, the woman playing Ralphie's mother stole the show!

that I never attended a performance here before. I thought the price of $7, in the paper, for a lunch time show was a mistake. It wasn't and the show was superb. This section is small and intimate, seating only around 100, with open seating and a chance to interact with the actors afterwards. What a delightful experience. One can even order lunch, although I prefer not to balance it on my lap. Tickets are generally available at the box office just prior to the show. There is even an evening performance, on Mon., for the same price.

The Rhythm Cats Talent in the show is fantastic! We did Christmas Show twice ( different friends ) and the Variety Show once ( November). The buffet is included. All staff wears gloves & masks - you point They put it on your plate (. Behind plastic barriers ). Then your plate is handed to you at the end. Separate salad prepared plates with rolls and butter. Waitresses take drink orders while waiting g and eating. Tables are totally cleared before the show starts so all masks go back on. At intermission more drinks available. Again cleared before shows starts. Wonderful experience with multiple shows available.
