I would highly recommend for tours or transfers. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Francisco "Cisco" as our guide for the transfers and the cave tubing. He is extremely knowledgeable about the trees, plant, birds, etc. We learned a lot from him. When we transferred to Placencia, our lodging was hard to find, but Cisco stayed with us until we found the place and made sure we were able to get into the room before leaving! He even carried our bag with all our snorkel gear in it!!. He was amazing! Rick & Donna H

We absolutely loved our tour with Paul! Pick up from Belize Express started off our adventure to Altun Ha... We amazingly had the place to ourselves! And Paul took the time to explain the ruins and the surrounding areas to us, climbed the steps and took some great pictures for/of us. We then had any amazing lunch at the Teaky Tavern followed by exploring the forests and caves... Perfect weather, great company! We would definitely recommend booking your private tour with Paul, you will not regret it!

Our guide Wilson was so knowledgeable about the various things in the hiking trails and took his time to stop and show us the various plants and even wildlife at the Jaguar Preserve. At the end of the hike we arrived at a beautiful and refreshing waterfall that we enjoyed so much. In the afternoon we had a local maya lunch followed by this culture teaching us how they make delicious savory chocolate directly from the fruit. This was definitely an adventurous day in Belize I will never forget. Definitely a must do tour with Untame Belize from Placencia.

This tour was a highlight of my day! I was with a family and they made the tour even better! So much Mayan information in only one day! Leo, the guide, did a FABULOUS job teaching us about the Caracol history. He was awesome! Very knowledgeable and if he didn’t know the answer, he made sure to figure it out. The pools at the end was exactly what we needed on a hot day! The view there was amazing. All in all, this trip is a must as this Pyramid is known as Mother of ALL Belizian Mayans! A must if you want to climb it!!

My husband and I were in Belize in early March for our honeymoon. We are both the type to research things before we book and were hesitant to book the cave tubing adventure with Ridge and Reef due to lack of reviews. We are so glad we booked, we had an amazing time! The company owner (Leonardo) was very involved making sure every detail went as we wanted it. He checked in with us during the tour to make sure things were good. The company was very accommodating with any and everything we needed (transportation, food, general knowledge of Belize, etc.). Ridge and Reef was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat and I would definitely use this company again as they have proven they are trustworthy and reliable. The cave tubing tour is a MUST! The cave system we toured is one of the most unique places I have ever seen. It is absolutely beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The tour guide grew up in the area going to the cave as a child, so he was able to take us to an additional empty cave (the main cave was full of tourists) in addition to the rest of the cave system where all the tourists are. A tasty lunch of homemade tamales was also provided. If you are on the fence about booking this tour, GO FOR IT. You can always just reach out to the company, based on our experience they will be more than happy to work with you.
