Renovated art deco theater showing professional productions of contemporary plays & musicals.
I go to Shadowlands once a season as a guest of a season ticket holder. Every single performance I've seen there (about nine in total) has been professionally put together with talented performers. Theater-goers have revitalized Ellenville and several delicious, family-owned restaurants can be found in the vicinity of the theater, making for a special visit every time I've gone.

Primarily a historic movie theatre that runs regular and classic movies, also offering coffee house, live shows & art museum!
An old theatre that has been restored to its original beauty. Up to date movies can be watched in comfort. Also live entertainment is provided frequently. Walton works hard to keep this theatre alive & well!

Rhio & the Leigh Crizoe Trio will be singing songs from her new album Sunshine Girl, along with some great jazz standards, blues, rock, & much more. B-Ville is a cozy space with a great sound system & intimate setting. We feature Fentimans botanically brewed soda’s, Einbecker imported non-alcoholic beer, organic munchies like blue corn chip, pop corn, & a variety of other snacks and soft drinks.

I had the pleasure of doing Lanie Robertson's one woman show, Woman Before a Glass, at Bridge St. in September of 2018. What a marvelous place to work at! John created a set that more than rivaled the set I had when it played in London, and both John and Steven treated me like a queen. From the stage-manager to my dresser everyone took such good care of me that I felt totally supported - which I think is one of the reasons the work at Bridge st. is so good - they are theatrically savvy, kind and they value good theatre. They naturally treat their actors with the greatest respect; consequently we want to do the best job we can for them and for their audiences. I totally enjoyed the whole experience - being a guest in their home, performing , and being a part of the after theatre talk backs. Bridge St. represents the best that theatre has to offer.

Home of Levon's legendary Midnight Rambles, and situated on 18 acres in historic Woodstock, NY, Levon Helm Studios hosts intimate concerts throughout the year in this one-of-a-kind musical landmark. Levon Helm Studios was constructed in 1975 from local hemlock, pine, and bluestone, and was designed and acoustically engineered by Levon himself.
We scored tickets to this concert on the day after Thanksgiving at this great venue . The vibe there is always chill and laid back, the staff is awesome and it is one of my favorite all time intimate venues to see live music. If you get a chance go to the barn, you will not be disappointed.

My Mother (71), my Grandmother (92), my Daughter (15) and I (43), wanted to Celebrate my Birthday in a fun and different way while staying local, because my Grandmother has a difficult time sitting in the car for a long time. Normally my Daughter and I are Broadway bound for special occasions so we weren't anticipating much more than some nice family time together. However, we were all SOOOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by the caliber of acting, choice of Plays and the extremely comfortable intimate venue that we felt equally as entertained and pleased as if we had made one of our NYC trips to an actual Broadway Show... and all for such a reasonable price and the ease of it being practically right in our own "back yard". The performance had us literally crying, laughing, holding our breath and warming our hearts as if we ourselves were in the "experience". And then, to top it off, we walked over across the parking lot and enjoyed a delicious and eloquent meal at this charming little restaurant with outdoor tables looking over the picturesque mountains. Although, it was too chilly to utilize the outdoor dining, we found the inside just as quaint yet contemporary as one of our favorite City Eateries. We were all so pleased (and surprised at the Theater's comfortable seating for my 92 year old Grandmother to enjoy the entire show without any back complaints that usually come up), that we decided to make it a monthly tradition. We all STRONGLY RECOMMEND everyone to come and experience for yourselves what we believe is now one of New Paltz's and the Hudson Valley's Local Treasures!
