We took out of town friends there today after lunch for the best darn ice cream in Castle Rock. Before we could even make it to the back of the shop for the ice cream, they were facinated by the variety of vintage candy and the selection of homemade candy in the case. Needless to say, we all came away with a nice variety of sweet treats in addition to a scoop of their delicious ice cream. BTW, The ice cream is $1 a scoop. Love this little shop!

As outlet malls go, this one is very nice. There was ample parking. The mall is outdoor; I enjoyed the fresh air as we walked between stores. The mall is large, but the layout is sensible and easy-to-navigate. Store directories were everywhere. Nice selection of stores across all categories. Fairly standard offerings for an outlet mall, but an above-average number of stores. Each store I entered was well-maintained. A few stores that suit the region: Arc'teryx, North Face, Columbia. The usual assortment of clothing stores: Banana Republic, Gap, Brooks Brothers, Bass, Express, etc. A few jewelry and cologne places and some specialty stores (shoes, jewelry, etc.). I was there on a beautiful Saturday late afternoon/early evening. While the parking lots were relatively full, the mall was not obnoxiously crowded. It's in a very suburban area and there were lots of other strip malls around, along with lots of chain restaurants. As outlet malls go, among the best I have visited.

This place is amazing. We haven't been to Castle Rock in a very long time, so we did a day trip to the town and what a pleasant surprise. This place grabbed me at the get go and I spent a good hour browsing around seeing all the great gifts I could get everyone l love. Good thing I left with one for me! This is a bunch of little shops all together with unique and wonderful gifts. Skip the outlet stores and come straight right here. It is very cool and so worth it!
