Well worth the steep climb to get to the top. Best first thing in the morning when you have the place to yourself. Amazing views of the area, could see how they lived on top of the hill.

This medieval village with its stone walkways, charming stone homes, dispersed fountains of drinkable water was a pleasant surprise. It is an easy walk to the castle or what's left of it. They have restored a bit and the attendant at the tourist office was very helpful in providing information about the castle and town history. We spent a few hours exploring the town which had very few tourists due to COVID and speaking with some of its residents. I recommend a visit to this charming village and hope to return with an overnight stay to see it at nightime.
