I have selected the best companies of wines, extra virgin olive oil, buffalo mozzarella and Cilento white fig and you will discover the history of each one, you will visit the working environments, but above all you will delight your palate with products with unique flavors. I will also tell you a story from 2500 years ago, thanks to a guided tour of the archaeological site of the ancient Greek-Roman city of Paestum and the treasures preserved in the National Museum. Only at the end of this tour, away from stress, and enjoying the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet, can you say that you have really known and discovered a rich and pristine land, a true human destination: the Cilento!

One of the highlights of our weeks stay in Castellabate was our (2 adults / 2 teens) day trip with Nicola which he tailored to our requests at very short notice. While going at a very leisurely pace we packed more into a Cilento tour than we could possibly have done without local knowledge. We visited Nicola's excellent choice of farms, Mozzarella, Wine, Figs and a very informative tour of Paestum and tasted the foods of real countryside Italy. I would strongly recommend contacting Nicola if you plan to visit the Castellabate area for a proper Cilento experience.

Continuing our tour we will have a guided visit to a Mozzarella di Bufala Organic Farm to see the process of this local cheese. We finish our tour at a Cilento National Park wine producer visiting Vineyard, cellar and taste 2 local red wine,1 white and 1 rosè with local products. and cakes
