Cape Town glistens at the southern toe of the African continent. Tourist brochure-views at Blaauwberg Beach and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens are within easy driving distance of "The Mother City." The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve provides sweeping sea vistas, hiking trails and wildlife encounters. On a more somber note, travelers can visit Robben Island, the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 27 years.

I never been to the races before since I am not a gambler. But Hayley and Jade organised for me to attend the races, see the stables and meet the jockeys in a fun-filled afternoon with her lovely friends and acquaintances. I had such a good time nibbling on crudets and sipping champagne whilst enjoying the buzz. Thank you Go That Way - the best personalised tourism services in Cape Town (ever) !

I was put on a bus with teenagers aging 15-19. They were shouting and screaming the entire way n throwing water at each other. Me and my sister got soaked wet. And when I asked them to stop they called me “LOCA” and almost got physical with me with the bus driver watching. At the hostel, I couldn’t sleep for 3 consecutive nights because of how noisy they were. I spoke to the bus driver and he just dismissed me. His excuse was it’s communal living and I had to put up with the drunk screams till 3 am every night. The tour at the safari was meant to be one hour and ended as a 45 min tour of seeing nothing. The bus driver kept on pushing and embarrassing us to buy food and drinks that we didn’t need from the restaurants and cafes to get his commission which made us extremely uncomfortable. The hostel was dirty. The entire experience unpleasant if u r anything above 30, it’s not the right place for u. When we came back, we complained to the office on long street. Again, they were dismissive and didn’t even bother to apologize.

The 6 day Garden Route Tour was a fantastic experience for discovering hidden gems along the Western Cape. The tour was carefully planned, with a balance of fun guided activities and exploring towns freely. Although travel times may be long, the journey was enjoyable with great views and incredible passes in transit times. Each night, we stayed at unique accommodations which made the experience fun and the meals were above expectation. Cindy our guide went above and beyond to ensure we were safe during COVID times and to make us at ease. Also, a great company which seeks to empower local businesses which have been hard-hit during COVID times. Highly recommended.
