The first Friday of every month is a great time to explore the arts district. There are live bands, street food, and vendors. The little shops in the area are fantastic. Come see the murals that local artists paint on the buildings that tell a story of the area.

I decided that I wanted to visit all the museums and homesteads of the eight Presidents who came from Ohio, and then I learned about the First Ladies Museum, dedicated to the women who also helped to shape our country as they stood with their husbands (minus one, Buchanan who never married but had his niece fulfill this role). This museum has several artifacts and information about the First Ladies. A couple blocks away is the Saxton House, the home of Ida Saxton McKinley, one of the First Ladies. This should also be included on your tour. This home is absolutely beautiful. The tour guide has lots of great information about the house and the McKinley's.
