Recently I had to cancel our train trip through Italy and Switzerland. I was able to obtain a refund on all the Italian train fares but no changes or refunds are permitted by Swiss rail. Swiss train fares are very high by world standards and while I appreciate the terms are non refundable, Swiss rail gives you no opportunity to purchase a refundable/changeable pass. Take care when purchasing a Swiss rail pass as plans can change.

No issues here so have no concerns that you might be left stranded or that your guide doesn't speak your language or that the tour is somehow altered or changed. However at the price my partner and I were surprised at lack of basic historical facts so check the resume of guide if you are a stickler for detailed knowledge of experiences in this tour.

This was absolutely delightful. We couldn't have had a better time, due to our incredible guide,Ulrich. He was very knowledgeable and respectful of our intentions. He made the long ride entertaining as well as educational. We would definitely use his service again. Our only issue was trying to reach your office by phone a couple of days before our trip to confirm and not being able to reach anyone. This created undo stress and it totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Thank you for our great guide. Maurice & Teena Nanoia

Mount Pilatus is a mountain massiv with several peaks, overlooking Lucerne. The top can be reached with the Pilatus Railway, the world's steepest cogwheel railway, from Alpnachstad, operating from May to November (depending on snow conditions) and the whole year with the aerial panorama gondolas and aerial cableways from Kriens. The classical "Golden Round Trip" involves taking the lake boat from Luzern across to Alpnachstad, going up by the coghwheel railway and returning down on the aerial cableways and panorama gondolas to Kriens, from where the bus takes you back to Luzern. Your tour guide leads you on this round trip through varied landscape and wonderful views and shows you few places away from the tourist flow
Inclusions: all taxes, fees and handling charges, local guide operated by Swiss Travel Guide for your party only, all transportation fees for boat, coghwheel railway, gondola and bus

Unique day tour to Jungfraujoch in the ❤️ of Switzerland with limousine, helicopter and train. You fly from the heliport Gsteigwiler with a magnificent view of the Jungfrau region directly to the Jungfraujoch (3454 Meter) Top of Europe. After an individual stay on the Jungfraujoch, travel by train (from the highest railway station in Europe) back to Interlaken. incl. Transfer from and to your Hotel in Zurich. Private tour and best price per person if you book for 5 people. The feasibility of the helicopter flight is reserved. Despite the good weather, a flight can be canceled or postponed due to excessive wind or snow drifts on the Jungfraujoch. In this case, the tour can still be made by train (both ways). We do our best to bring you safely and comfortably to the Jungfraujoch.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, All Fees and Taxes, Limosine Service from / to Hotel, Helicopter flight to Jungfraujoch, Train ticket

We booked the flight in Interlaken but had to ring the day before to check flying conditions were okay. They were so it was a train to Interlaken Ost then a fairly expensive taxi to the helidrome at Gsteigwiler. Very picturesque setting with a pleasant waiting area. Staff were lovely and made us welcome and our pilot, Martin, was brilliant. He inspired confidence and we lost our slight fears. A glacier landing was doubtful because of the wind but they agreed to extend the flight to 30 minutes. It was such a buzz. Breathtaking views all around. Check out the YouTube clips as words cannot do it justice. Not cheap (£250 each) but worth every penny!! Just do it!!

Very Excellent tour with guide Greg, he’s extremely informative and patient! A couple missed to exit the ferry and he went onboard to pick them. Misfortune happened as the ferry left with 3 of them onboard. He quickly contacted one of the tour members and assured us he will return in subsequent ferry. He made it back and continued our tour, even extending it to ensure we cover the tour in an unhurried and pleasant manner. Memorable trip!

During a short stay in Zurich we took a two hour city tour with headphone commentary (due to the virus there we no tour guides available). For us, at two hours the tour was just about the right length and the commentary was interesting and informative with a narrative that extended to both the city and national relevance. A word about the driver - he was friendly and just about the best bus/ coach driver I have ever experienced. He navigated the often narrow streets and turnings superbly and was courteous to other drivers and pedestrians. Whilst we thought this was quite an expensive tour, (most things in Zurich are quite expensive), we did very much enjoy it and would certainly recommend it.....
