The castle of Thunstetten was built in 1713 - 1715 by order of Hieronymus of Erlach according to the plans of the famous Parisian architect Joseph Abeille. Today it is the same as the event hall (rooms can be rented) and the museum with the castle café (every 2nd and 4th Sunday, from March to November). With few exceptions, the castle park can be walked without prior notice.
