Westsong Walkway

This paved walkway borders the northern shore of the harbour. You can walk part or all of it. The whole thing will take you an hour. It is flat-ish and you'll meet runners, dog-walkers, and other friends. Very scenic. Stop for lunch at Spinnakers. Watch the seaplanes take off and land. Take pictures of the legislature and harbour.

Steveston Heritage Fishing Village

A 19th-century frontier seaport is reborn more than 100 years later into a picturesque working fishing village.

We went to Steveston Fishing Village for dinner at Pajo’s Fish and Chips, after a great time at Terra Nova Park playground In Richmond. Both are a great place to walk about. The Cannery Museum is an historically significant site, once one of the many salmon canneries on the BC Coast. Park on the north side of the Cannery Museum. You can’t park near Pajo’s as that is for folks who live nearby on their fish boats. In Fall there are the great pumpkin gardens and corn mazes to run in just East of highway 99 intersection with Steveston Highway.

This scenic patch of waterfront is the location of Victoria's many tourist attractions, recreational activities, restaurants and shopping. For a special treat, have afternoon tea at the grand Empress Hotel or board a ferry for a harbor tour.

Port Credit

Mississauga Ontario's entertainment hub for shopping, events, music and dining on the waterfront. Our beautiful community offers something for everyone, with a wide array of restaurants, retail stores, services and cafes, all within easy walking distance from each other. We are only 26 km away from Downtown Toronto. The Port Credit Go Station will drop you off right into the heart of our town. Port Credit is always on and always electric!

Port Credit area has 2 water fronts. The port section has the light house on the road and walkway on the shoreline. This also has the Snug Harbour restaurant. But there is a challenge with parking as there's only pay parking on the road. The other one is the J.C. Saddington park is a nice park with plethora of grass areas, seating benches, lake shore and rocky areasto seat and enjoy the views. Also it has 2 large parking areas. Very good view of the sunrise behind the solitary ship on the lake. It is really nice to have a walk during morning or evening.

Awesome place to visit for everyone to enjoy during the summer months in New Brunswick. Had a great time taking a boat tour (times are listed so worth checking these). There is a safe splash zone for young children and fantastic ice cream cones at the nearby store. Worth noting that there are special out door events and live entertainment taking place in the evening and Sundays! Worth checking with the tourist office to make sure if the times and dates as these are weather permitting A really enjoyable afternoon enjoyed by all the family.
