Having read all the reviews we took a stroll over to the area. It’s a very nice area and the little island with the restaurants bars and the castle is well worth a visit. The Grand Hotel Santa Lucia overlooks it and is a great place to stay.

Highly recommend a guide. We spent most of a morning in the neighborhood. Very interesting. Great to “feel” the inner city. Always felt safe even sharing the road with scooters and cars. Street art well done and interesting with a guide. Definite recommend.
