Read the story and you can't help be moved by the history behind the sculptures and it's captured here in Calais in front of the famous town hall, and set amongst a very well maintained garden of tulips, standard roses irises etc.

The eglise Notre Damn is a magnificent church, rebuilt following the damage it suffered during the war. The exterior architecture is superb and is equaled by the ornate decoration inside.

Combining art, culture and entertainment, the Compagnie du Dragon offers you a unique journey. At the heart of our approach - inherited from La Machine in Nantes - is movement. As soon as a scene is played out, magic and emotion intertwine, creating a new language ... Through its interventions on the seafront, the Dragon offers a new look at the city of Calais.

Calais Lighthouse was one of the highlights of my recent day trip to Calais.I had a group of 11 So entry for this was just 3 Euro apiece, instead of 4.5. You start with a short, informative 10 minute video of the Lighthouse and then you are free to scale the narrow steps to reach the top of the Lighthouse.A lot of steps 271,but well worth it you get to see a fantastic 360 degree view of Calais.Great spot for taking pictures.Staff were friendly and helpful.

This statue is in a square in the centre of Calais. It's an interesting place with regular activities. Sit by the fountain and look at the statue that looks like two people strolling along. Except they are enormous.
