All about the coconut palm. In an entertaining and educational way, the activity transmits popular and scientific knowledge of the coconut - from the coconut palm, through the ripening stages, to the processing; showing the great variety of processing (edible, industrial, cosmetic, handcrafted) of this 100% usable tropical plant.

Our company was established in 2014 with a goal of becoming Cahuita's #1 source for surf. We cater to all skill levels and abilities. The instructors are known for their vast knowledge of the sport as well as their patience and skills in teaching. Cahuita Experience is a highly sought after surf school for many large groups to learn to surf and have fun doing it! Since then we have quickly expanded into ecotourism from our passion for nature and preserving it for years to come. One of our newest offerings is the Sloth Tour. This was an important addition to our tours because we want to help people have safe and proper encounters with sloths all while educating them on the importance of their environment and protecting it. For a full list of what we offer click here. All of our guides are certified experts and have all grown up locally learning about the flora and fauna.

An amazing dark volcanic sand beach with outcroppings of jagged volcanic rocks at low tide. We were lucky to live in this part of Costa Rica in a Casita at the Playa Negra Yoga Retreat for part of our trip. The unpaved road leading to the beach had trees filled with playful monkey at feeding time just before sunset. The sunsets were spectacular. surfers paradise too
The total route is 5 km of pure wild life !. Starting with 2.5 km in secundary forest trail, which is special to observe the two species of monkeys that inhabit our national park (Howler Monkey and White-faced Monkey). Followed a break of 10 minutes in which you take a snack (fruits and snacks), included in the tour. After the break, we start the hike on the "Los Cativos" in Cahuita National Park
