The Colored Musicians Club of Buffalo

Reviewed By HollyWNY - Buffalo, United States

I visited the club for the first time while attending a group event. I was very impressed by the well-designed museum on the first floor that covered the impact and history of the club. My walk through the museum culminated with one of the best live 3 piece jazz shows I've been to. This a must stop for music and history enthusiasts alike. I would also recommend this for school-age children - interactive music exhibits perfect for this age group.

Pearl Street Grill & Brewery

Reviewed By rcw198 - Grand Island, United States

The Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is one of downtown Buffalo’s staples. It has a friendly and fun atmosphere. There are quite a few tables, so even when dining after a downtown sporting event, wait times are reasonable. My son and I dined here after an early hockey game. I made a reservation during the game and we were immediately seated upon arrival. My son had a plate of honey mustard wings which he enjoyed and I had a turkey and avocado wrap which was also very good. It was big enough that I took half home for my wife to enjoy. We each started with a cup of the Gouda soup. I wish I had gotten a bowl as it was quite good. Our server was attentive and polite. The bill was exceptionally reasonable. I could easily see a family dining here and not breaking their entertainment budget. This is a great place to go with friends for drinks and pub fare or with the family for a fun dinner.
