14,003 foot mountain in the Sawatch range of Colorado. One of Colorado's 58 14ers
Another must for those working on the 14er list. Trail is great. the 4 wheel drive road is definitely that. but if you need to walk it (like I did) its an easy walk.

What an amazing hike! Very tough hike for hikers from Ohio (600ft above sea level). Suggestion, acclimate to the altitude for several days before attempting, if you don’t live in the area! They have a great parking area at the trail head. Skip the path that takes you to the lake, and head right for the summit! The views On a good day are life changing! We took all day to hike it, but again, we are from Ohio and the thin air makes it very difficult. Always bring layered clothing to take off and put on when weather changes.

Gorgeous hike along the Arkansas River! You can do a loop hike, as there are 2 foot/bike bridges that cross the river. There are a lot of gorgeous boulders all along the hike, both in the river and along the trail itself, especially on the 'upper' (east) side. If you have someone in your party who has issues scrambling up/down a boulder or 2 while hiking, the trail on the lower/west side of the river is a lot easier to hike. But if at all possible, you should do the entire loop. It's not that long, allow about an hour so you can stop to take pictures.

This is a ole' west style 12 room country Inn, with 3 original log cabins each with their own private soaking pools. A 3 bedroom 1 bath cottage, a 2 bdr. 1 bath vacation rental in a secluded area along cottonwood creek.and a 5 bdr. 3 1/2 bath B&B. We are surrounded by San Isabel National Forest. we offer one of the purest hot spring soaking pools around. 5 different pools all at different temperatures. Our environment is a natural mountian environment, in a small canyon up cottonwood pass. we also are prone to mudslides and meandering wildlife. we do not offer wifi, in room phones are TV's. we have solar arrays. wind towers. led lighting. in other words we present the most eco-friendly presentation possible. with the least amount of dirty electricity possible.
I didn't have the same experience the others had. We couldn't get into Mount Princeton, so we tried here. It turned out to be the best decision ever. It was cheaper and we enjoyed it more. They have LOTS of areas to actually sit or lay belly down. When we got there they said that their were a lot of people in the pools but they were under their allowable limit. They said to take a look and make sure we were comfortable with how many people were there and we were. Everyone was Sulfur smell! My only suggestion is to update the changing rooms. It is very small and cramped!
