Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world’s oldest original model village. Set in Beaconsfield, just outside of London we are a popular day attraction for people of all ages.It was opened in 1929 and it’s a great place to bring the family and stomp around like giants! There are six model towns, a huge Gauge 1 model garden railway, ride-on railway, remote-controlled boats, castles, lakes and industries in 1.5 acres of award-winning gardens. It's a great family day out, and it's your chance to be a giant in a miniature land of adventure, hidden away in a 1930s timewarp. It’s a big day out full of really nice small things and we'd love to see you soon!
The whole family had an amazing visit. The details everywhere are brilliant. Every time we walked around we spotted something new. The model railway running around the whole village is brilliant and my son loved spotting the different trains running past. We will definitely be visiting again.

Gulliver's Land is designed especially for families and unlike many other UK theme parks we are perfect for kids aged 2 - 13. Enjoy a great family day out where you don't have to pay for parking! Look out for play areas across Gulliver's alongside amazing rides and attractions. Try the new twist n joust rollercoaster or head over to the tiny tots interactive play area. If you want to combine your theme park visit with another family experience then book a session at one of our individual attractions. Jump into the arena and battle it out in Blast Arena or prepare to get soaked in Splash Zone. Dinosaur and Farm Park gives you the chance to meet all your farm yard favourites. Head to the official Gulliver's website for detailed ticket information and opening times. Remember to follow Gully Mouse on Facebook and subscribe to our exclusive online special offers.
After the sprawling busy-ness of places like Chessington and Legoland, we were very keen to experience Gulliver’s Land given it’s focus on younger children and the notion that you don’t have to queue for very long for the rides. We bought tickets in advance for a Sunday and got to the park shortly after it opened. Sadly, the weather was miserable so the first thing we did was to get a poncho for our 4-year-old, while the 1 year old sat under the cover of her pram (but didn’t like being there at all). First impressions were good – very nicely presented, interesting buildings and plenty of space to move around. We took in as many rides as we could but felt hampered by the rain, but luckily there are plenty of areas to shelter, as well as being able to sit in the main dining area in the centre of the park. The weather was better in the afternoon. There were a couple of rides out of action, such as the Cycle Monorail and Dragon Siege, but we managed to experience most of the rest with very little queuing time. Our favourites were Jungle Falls, the very pleasant Jungle River Ride, and the more thrilling Runaway Train and Log Flume – which is where those ponchos came in very handy! We deliberately avoided the soft play areas but had to make use of the smaller area for our baby to get out of the pram, but had to leave the pram out of sight out of the rain. You can get a decent meal there, we settled for burgers and chicken nuggets, but you can get sandwiches or a jacket potato. You can also get a decent coffee and there are places to get ice cream or other treats all over the park. The staff were very nice and you’d likely see the same person operating another ride as they seem to move around. There are a couple of suggestions we’d make to improve the overall experience: - Some sounds or music to accompany the Jungle River Ride would be a very nice addition; - Same for the Gulliver’s Travels the Ride: nice idea but the models were a bit creepy looking - Turning the lights on for the Crazy Mouse wouldn’t hurt, as you can hardly see a thing besides the dim coloured lights; Apart from that, a thoroughly enjoyable full day can be had there – we arrived just after opening time and left just before the park closed 5pm, so a proper full day out. Would have been so much better if the sun was out, but that couldn’t be helped!

Came for our 2 hour slot and had a fun time, even with everything thats going on the park are doing very good trying to keep everyone safe, just a shame people don't or won't read up on the safety measures, and feel it's fine to scream and shout as it does not suit them. Everything is on the company's website. All the staff are doing there best to cope.
