Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

my romanian store was born with the desire of promoting the Romanian traditions at the level they deserve. The store is a special place, a fusion of traditional and modern, the only place where you can find original Romanian handicrafts, made by Romanians according to century old customs and traditions with detailed history for every piece of art. Also, in my romanian store you will find works of young Romanian designers which reinterpret the traditional art with a modern twist.
Diana was very helpful and friendly when placing my online order. I would highly recommend My Romanian Store!

Once upon a time, like in fairy tales, there was a Romanian store that wanted to grow up. And he was asked by others what he wants to do when he grows up, and his answer was: a shop to carry on the Romanian tradition. Nobody knew what that meant, and what this small boutique wanted. But he knew. He knew that those he would receive and host under his roof would always ask the same question about his purpose. One day, after a long period of thinking, he understood what his goal was. And because he was a smart boutique, he took his name Romanian Boutique and filled his interior with traditional Romanian objects, from the small key rings and magnets to traditional wear and Romanian blouses to paintings, crafted wooden products.
I bought all of my souvenirs from Bucharest from this store, as it is full of reasonably priced goods. You can find gifts for everyone's taste here - fridge magnets, t-shirts, ceramics, folklore costumes, and of course - a lot of Dracula/vampires stuff :)
