We were recommended to go to the wine loft by friends who know the owners and we weren’t disappointed. Claire and her husband are incredibly knowledgeable about wine, I still dream about the Tasmanian pink champagne! We had such a great time we bought vouchers for my sister and brother-in-law to treat themselves and they too had a beautiful evening. Really different wines to try buy the glass and buy to take home as well as tasty Tapas, cheese, hams and olives. Their Covid routines make you feel very safe as well as warm and hospitable. This is a lovely place for a treat as well as just a pop in before you go home for supper in the evening. If you’re in Brixham a nearby, this is not to be missed.

We are a traditional back street pub keen on putting back what people miss in pubs these days atmosphere, quality and value for money.
We stayed in Brixham last weekend and popped in for the Saturday night music. We were made to feel very welcome by bar staff and locals. The beer choice was fantastic with samples offered to help make a decision! The band was great, playing mainly 70s classics. We also had Sunday lunch next day, which was great quality and value, including lots of vegetables.
