With the combination of our fantastic horses, fun, knowledgeable, personable guides/wranglers, small or big groups, and the stunning beauty of the scenery, what more can one ask for? Our guests have a passion for horses, want to be out with nature, and have an adventurous side. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. The views are spectacular! We also offer pack trips, cabin rentals, and fishing trips. Must call or email for directions. Do NOT drive to our house please. The map is not able to match where the rides are which are in the mountains of the St. Marys.
We utilized the 2 hour trail ride and it was an amazing experience!!! Amanda was awesome and helped my wife conquer her fears when riding down the mountainside. Amanda was friendly and supportive and this experience was one we will remember always!!! Thank you GOT and thank you Amanda!!!

***We are now open!*** To follow Provincial Covid19 related guidelines we are operating at a reduced capacity. This will allow us to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone. Because of this reduced capacity, we strongly recommend calling ahead to book a ride. Enjoy guided rides on our scenic working cattle ranch. With a maximum of eight riders, and a variety of options and choices, our rides are enjoyed by all levels of rider. We welcome children, novices and experienced riders.
My son of 9 and I (newbies to horses) were warmly welcomed and appropriately given gentle horses for the 2hr trail ride--through wonderful meadows and a lovely forest trail. I highly recommend Sarah and Ed for an excellent day out. Informative, professional, and friendly. It was a fantastic way to spend quality time in a beautiful area. Thanks to the Shooks, their lovely dog, and the great horses. I got the tip from the visitor centre in Clearwater and would highly recommend this.

Guided horse back riding, backcountry expeditions in Whistler and Pemberton. With exclusive access to Birkenhead and Tenquille Lake as well as hourly rides in the Pemberton Valley, and other beautiful routes in the region.
Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (age 13, 12 and 9) had an amazing 2-day 1-night camping and horse riding experience under the supervision and guidance of Don and Annie. We were all beginner riders but Annie made us all feel safe. The camp was luxurious with hot water and a dry toilet with no smell. The tents and sleeping bags were very clean and comfortable and we had the best sleep during our entire trip. We all had sore bums in the end but the memories will last a lifetime. Highly recommended.

My friend and I had a lovely two hour ride, and really appreciated how knowledgable and friendly the guides were and how good the horses were. Also we were able to keep social distance, so a great activity if you are worried about covid.

A small guest ranch, where you can go for some amazing trail rides through the mountains. We offer lessons, liberty/horse whispering demos and trail rides. We also have some very great miniature horses to offer little kids their first horse experience. We also have a little shop on the ranch where you can find some great souvenirs and anything you could need and want as a horse lover. We have 4 guest cabins located in the middle of nature, the ranch is located only 2 minutes from high way 5, which makes it a perfect location for overnight stop or your dream horse holiday.
Discover Canada Tours organized this trip to the Willow Ranch for breakfast on the last day of a four day trip of the Canadian Rockies. It was like leaving the best for the last. After checking out from our hotel in Valemount early morning at 7 am were driven down to the ranch a little distance away from the hotel. Real cowboys and horses were waiting for us. Willow Ranch is a real ranch with horses, donkeys, a breakfast kitchen, 2 bonfires, a broken down jalopy, and real cowboys and ranchers. We started with a cup of black coffee and got a plate of hash browns, and a muffin with a cheese slice and a tomato slice. We had to serve ourselves directly from the open ranch kitchen which is run by the resident family. There were wooden tables and benches besides the kitchen and ranch house. Then there was a session of lassoing, throwing, hammering a nail in to a log of wood, and some dancing. Everyone had a jolly time here with us learning to lasso and line-dance with our new friends from around the world. Even our dignified friend from Japan was enjoying doing the line dance. They do have some cabins for lodging as well as a gift shop where you can buy some cowboy style stuff. They arrange horse riding trips on the mountain trails too.
